I tested and it seems to happen only when you directly tell buddy to drive if tell him first to enter vehicle(passenger) and then tell them to drive it doesn't happen, i can make video if it still doesn't happen to you and yes i have "Follow" option off or else they keep teleporting. Also when i edit movement style(walk) of buddy with your mod on it doesn't apply, but it does with custom peds and your mod off.
I think there is some kind of bug whenever i get the buddy to follow me in his/her own vehicle when they get near to me they keep getting in and out of the car. Btw have you thought of adding the other XXX animation in the car like uirty custom peds have, there's 2 variations one for supercars and the other is for the rest(they are kinda different) but i prefer your mod because you included the whole animation(transaction) they just don't teleport.
I tried the latest version 2.5b and it's still crashing when i try the newly added features i don't know if it's just me. Btw i absolutely love all your mods keep it up!

@Hunk What an aim i got lol that was the only place i actually tested (Michael's bedroom i believe), haven't got around to try any other locations.
