Alive & City YMAP PACK 2.0


This pack has all my maps converted to ymap, some of the maps have been specially redesigned for ymap use. Because you can not put in peds with ymap i have chosen chairs and benches on which the peds can appear. Unfortunately you can not put all maps in the game at the same time, then some maps will have less objects. The textures of some gameworld objects will be then block-shaped. That's why I put together some packages so you can choose the worlds you want without having problems. Most maps make use of Jedijosh920 sitting mod & real working Hotdog Vendors so use these mods too!

What's new in version 2.0

I have now taken advantage of OmegaKingMods Map Builder so all the Alive maps have better ground foundation. Some blocks have now better textures for the house foundation so that it looks a bit more realistic.

Changes for the ymaps;

Sandy Shores: Has now better house foundation and the boulevards are now tiled with better textures.

Grapeseed: Mckenzies Airfield house got some improvements, the Fortress has a now a better floor & I planted a small forest near the village. The foundation has been re-laid with better textures.

Paleto Bay: The new residential area got an extra house and all houses have now outdoor lighting & better foundation. There is a new accessible building on one of the holiday islands because I demolished the Hen House interior for the ymap version [ymap don't support teleportmarkers] and some other minor adjustments have been made to keep the ymap alive.

Vinewood Hills: The foundation of the restaurant & bar has been re-laid with better textures and some roofs look now better.

The Hedgemaze: The foundation has new textures.

Place the custom_maps folder into; C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks. You can now place my dlc.rpf packs in here. Then go to your dlclist; mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and extract it somewhere, edit it with notepad add this line; [line is in download] save it and put it back. You need OPENIV to do this and to work with ymaps. If you wish to make your own custom selection follow this method; Go with OPENIV to the custom_maps folder and search for this line; mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\custom_maps\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\_citye\maps\custom_maps.rpf\ click on edit and then right click a blank area where the files are displayed and choose "Import OpenFormat". Select the ymap file and you will see a blue screen appear to import the xml ymap files. Close OPENIV and you have now compiled your own ymap folder. Don't place more than 7 maps of mine in the custom maps folder otherwise there will be texture problems with some world objects, also some maps will miss then some objects.

Alive Pack - This is for the northern part of the map.
City Pack - This file is for the soutern part of the map.
Look in the packs which worlds are in the dlc
Extra Information

Some maps in this ymap pack are optimized and have little bug fixes.
