In Los Santos there are many graffiti, I selected a few places to put mine.
It is recommended use 'mods' folder, this article explains how: http://openiv.com/?p=1132
Installation:
Open your OpenIV: GTA V ...
in edit mode.
replace files according with the folder structure:
*0.4
-added new location

Man...are you able to show me how to edit the dxt5 files so that i could put my own on the wall as i am doing a project on gangs video...and need my own spin on it...is it pretty dificult? Please help bro..im not gonna upload just need it for video project thanks in advance
@perese1 you need to create a PNG file with transparent background or TGA with alpha channel. if you want, send me a twitter @israelsr and I try to help you.
@israelsr, so rather than working on the file as a dds you work on it as a PNG with transparent background, but once you have finished to you simply save it as a dds and import it back and its fine?
@Demons With the .dds plugin for Photoshop, I open the dds, edit it and save as transparent PNG or TGA with alpha channel and the PNG or TGA can be imported directly into OpenIV. In my case to preserve the original mipmaps, use the DDS Converter 1.4 to create the .dds, then import in OpenIV usually have more mipmaps and only reduce it to the original amount.
@Demons To create .dds can also be used this free online service: http://online-converting.com/image/convert2dds/
@israelsr thank you for this, i had the hardest time finding the file location to that wall
@israelsr hey thanks a lot man I didnt know that openIV would accept importation of anything but .dds files, you rock :)
These are really good, are you thinking of doing all the graffiti, a Majority or just a few. Thanks.
@T1GER404 Everything would be difficult because there are a lot. I want to change it in some interesting places, for now my objective is to select 10 locations.
I was thinking okay no problem thanks for commenting back. :)
Great work!!! do you know which file the Vagos murals are located?
