- Redesigned UI layout: all 4 menus (Drag Timer, Vehicle Tuning, Controls, Vehicle Spawner) are now the same size and arranged in a single row across the top of the screen, with clean spacing so no windows overlap or touch.
- Moved the Drag Tree up so it lines up properly with the top of the menu row (size unchanged).
- Fixed a bug where the Drag Tree (Numpad 0) couldn't be toggled while the Vehicle Spawner menu was open.
- Vehicle Spawner menu no longer closes automatically after spawning a car - spawn multiple vehicles back to back without reopening the menu.
- Controls menu text increased in size for better readability, without making the window bigger.

This is a professional, fully-featured drag racing mod for GTA V. It includes a highly accurate 1/4 mile timer, a functional Christmas tree with reaction times, and a deep vehicle tuning system that lets you customize acceleration, traction, and boost on the fly. It also features automatic zero-lag transmission shifting and smart traction control to give you the perfect launch every time.
📋 What You Need (Prerequisites)
To run this mod, you must have the following installed in your GTA V game directory:
Script Hook V (by Alexander Blade) - Required for any script mods to work in GTA V.
Script Hook V .NET (by crosire) - Required to run C# mods like this one.
(If you don't have these, simply download them, extract them, and place ScriptHookV.dll and ScriptHookVDotNet.asi (along with its .ini and v2.4 or v3 folders) directly into your main GTA V folder where GTA5.exe is located).
📥 Installation Instructions
Locate your main GTA V game folder (where GTA5.exe is installed).
Inside the GTA V folder, look for a folder named scripts. If it does not exist, create a new folder and name it exactly scripts (all lowercase).
Take the mod file you compiled (named DragTimerMod.dll or DragTimerMod.cs) and place it inside the scripts folder.
Boot up your game. You will see a notification at the bottom of the screen saying: "Drag Timer Loaded! F8 Timer | F7 Tuning".
🎛️ Features & What the Menu Comes With
1. Main Drag Timer Menu (Press F8 to Toggle)
This menu appears on the left side of your screen and tracks your live run data:
Christmas Tree Lights: Appears on the right side of your screen. Lights up sequentially (Amber, Amber, Amber, GREEN) when you stop your car.
Reaction Time (RT): Calculates the exact millisecond between the green light and when your car moves. A perfect "Green Light" is under 0.500s. If you launch early, you get a "Foul".
Live 1/4 Mile Timer: Large, easy-to-read timer that starts the moment your car moves.
Progress Bar: Shows exactly how far you are into the 1/4 mile (0m to 402m).
Live Stats Grid: Displays your current Speed, Top Speed (for the run), and your overall Best Time.
2. Vehicle Tuning Menu (Press F7 to Toggle)
This menu appears right next to the Main Menu and allows you to modify your vehicle's physics live. All sliders go from 0 to 999.
Acceleration Slider: Multiplies your engine power up to 9.5x. Makes your car/bike insanely fast.
Traction Slider (Launch Control): Gives your car a physical launch push to break static friction, and uses a Smart TCS system to cut power if the tires try to spin out, ensuring a perfect holeshot.
Boost Slider: Adds up to 10x extra power on top of your acceleration. Activates automatically only when you hold the gas pedal.
Automatic Zero-Lag Transmission: Overrides the game's clutch slip, meaning your RPMs will never drop during shifts. You get instant, seamless gear changes automatically. Tips for the Perfect Run
Press F7 to open the tuning menu, and Numpad 9 to teleport to the airport.
Crank your Acceleration and Traction to 999.
Come to a complete stop. The Christmas Tree will appear on the right side of your screen.
Wait for the lights to drop to GREEN.
Hold the gas! The traction control will push you off the line and ensure your tires never spin out.
If you want an extra burst, crank your Boost to 999. It will kick in as long as you are holding the gas!

new Vehicle Spawner menu
- Redesigned UI layout: all 4 menus (Drag Timer, Vehicle Tuning, Controls, Vehicle Spawner) are now the same size and arranged in a single row across the top of the screen, with clean spacing so no windows overlap or touch.
- Moved the Drag Tree up so it lines up properly with the top of the menu row (size unchanged).
- Fixed a bug where the Drag Tree (Numpad 0) couldn't be toggled while the Vehicle Spawner menu was open.
- Vehicle Spawner menu no longer closes automatically after spawning a car - spawn multiple vehicles back to back without reopening the menu.
- Controls menu text increased in size for better readability, without making the window bigger.
- All numpad key labels now display as "NUM" instead of a shortened "N" for clarity (e.g. NUM 8/2, NUM 0, NUM .).
- Relocated the mod credit ("Created by GamingModz" + YouTube link) to a small watermark in the bottom-right corner of the screen so it no longer takes up space in the Controls menu.

🏁 Quarter Mile Drag Timer & Tuning Mod
This is a professional, fully-featured drag racing mod for GTA V. It includes a highly accurate 1/4 mile timer, a functional Christmas tree with reaction times, and a deep vehicle tuning system that lets you customize acceleration, traction, and boost on the fly. It also features automatic zero-lag transmission shifting and smart traction control to give you the perfect launch every time.
📋 What You Need (Prerequisites)
To run this mod, you must have the following installed in your GTA V game directory:
Script Hook V (by Alexander Blade) - Required for any script mods to work in GTA V.
Script Hook V .NET (by crosire) - Required to run C# mods like this one.
(If you don't have these, simply download them, extract them, and place ScriptHookV.dll and ScriptHookVDotNet.asi (along with its .ini and v2.4 or v3 folders) directly into your main GTA V folder where GTA5.exe is located).
📥 Installation Instructions
Locate your main GTA V game folder (where GTA5.exe is installed).
Inside the GTA V folder, look for a folder named scripts. If it does not exist, create a new folder and name it exactly scripts (all lowercase).
Take the mod file you compiled (named DragTimerMod.dll or DragTimerMod.cs) and place it inside the scripts folder.
Boot up your game. You will see a notification at the bottom of the screen saying: "Drag Timer Loaded! F8 Timer | F7 Tuning".
🎛️ Features & What the Menu Comes With
1. Main Drag Timer Menu (Press F8 to Toggle)
This menu appears on the left side of your screen and tracks your live run data:
Christmas Tree Lights: Appears on the right side of your screen. Lights up sequentially (Amber, Amber, Amber, GREEN) when you stop your car.
Reaction Time (RT): Calculates the exact millisecond between the green light and when your car moves. A perfect "Green Light" is under 0.500s. If you launch early, you get a "Foul".
Live 1/4 Mile Timer: Large, easy-to-read timer that starts the moment your car moves.
Progress Bar: Shows exactly how far you are into the 1/4 mile (0m to 402m).
Live Stats Grid: Displays your current Speed, Top Speed (for the run), and your overall Best Time.
2. Vehicle Tuning Menu (Press F7 to Toggle)
This menu appears right next to the Main Menu and allows you to modify your vehicle's physics live. All sliders go from 0 to 999.
Acceleration Slider: Multiplies your engine power up to 9.5x. Makes your car/bike insanely fast.
Traction Slider (Launch Control): Gives your car a physical launch push to break static friction, and uses a Smart TCS system to cut power if the tires try to spin out, ensuring a perfect holeshot.
Boost Slider: Adds up to 10x extra power on top of your acceleration. Activates automatically only when you hold the gas pedal.
Automatic Zero-Lag Transmission: Overrides the game's clutch slip, meaning your RPMs will never drop during shifts. You get instant, seamless gear changes automatically. Tips for the Perfect Run
Press F7 to open the tuning menu, and Numpad 9 to teleport to the airport.
Crank your Acceleration and Traction to 999.
Come to a complete stop. The Christmas Tree will appear on the right side of your screen.
Wait for the lights to drop to GREEN.
Hold the gas! The traction control will push you off the line and ensure your tires never spin out.
If you want an extra burst, crank your Boost to 999. It will kick in as long as you are holding the gas!
