@RezaM39 I hope you do! That Dinka Whatever-it's-called looks damn awesome, and I'd download it in an instant!
This, this is really good. But, I do have some problems and suggestions. First, the cars here aren't too recognizable, I imagine most people get this pack for the Dukes Mayhem and the Fukyu Z (yes really). There's no Disgustang, no Camaro Crusher, no General Maintenance, none of the popular cars, other than the Rotsun and General Mayhem. Now for some suggestions. The Dukes Mayhem's wheels are inaccurate to the ones on the real car, and should be redesigned, and the Rotsun doesn't have different wheels in the back. Also, the Mayhem should have a fishnet design in front of singular lights, like the real thing, and should have an option for a twin circle or modern Charger taillight design. Finally, a General Maintenance made from a Buffalo S would be awesome. After all, what's the point of having the Mayhem if you can't have the maintenance as well?
Am I the only one having a problem with the color? It's just normal chrome for me, not pink.
Wow, I knew how people had Sileighties by slapping an S13 front bumper on a 180sx (though some still call the process done with a 240sx a Sileighty, some call it a Silforty), but I never knew people did it the other way around. I needed this and didn't even realize it.
@MamboJumboPT Yes, Keisuke is a common name, as is Takahashi, but if you put them together, you get a fictional character from a popular racing anime. The actual, FULL, name of the livery is Keisuke Takahashi. If you look that name up on Google, all you get is Initial D. R* can get away with Fujiwara, because it's just the last name, and it's a common one. I shortened it because my review was a god damn paragraph, and I knew the creator would know what it meant. The game Pixel Car Racer had to edit their Sprinter Trueno AE86, originally, it had a livery based off of Takumi Fujiwara, but the likeness was 1:1, so the had to remove it for legal troubles. Also, not making something new up is just unoriginal, which most of these liveries are not. And, I was informed of Tongva Zone.
Okay thanks for the explanation. Can't wait for more parts!
This is good, but it has virtually no customization, except for liveries. Despite how many liveries there are, there's too few bumpers, skirts, roofs, etc. There's even problems with the liveries, some have fully copyrighted materials, yet others are just based off of them. The Keisuke livery is not only named after the Initial D character, but it also has the RedSuns branding, both of which are copyrighted. The TongvaZone livery has the exact opposite thing going on, it's original yet based on something copyrighted (Though I don't understand Tongva, touge is a real Japanese word, not something EA made up). The Kenji livery is too simple, the car isn't half black and half dark green with a white symbol on the hood. But it's handling is fucking beautiful, the car itself looks great, and the variety of liveries is fantastic, it just needs more polish.
@kpowka Oh, okay, can't wait to drift on this.
You said "Map is located a couple miles above Maze Bank building in LS" but I can't find it if I go to the top of the world, right above Maze Bank! Where is it?
Funny story, I never took a look at this because I didn't like it, but recently I started MW 2005, and beat Sonny, Blacklist #15. Then Taz's intro played and I felt amazed. 'That Sultan RS livery I didn't care for is featured early on in Most Wanted?' Al thatl because I didn't look at this livery's page. Great recreation though, hope to see more in the future, as the Nishigawa Crew, Rattlesnake (Which I did check out), and this prove that you're really good at GTA lore friendly versions of NFS cars.
