like others have stated, mapmod doesn't spawn anywhere. I can have both san andreas and vice city map loaded but can't get this to spawn, even converting it to FiveM doesn't work and I too have converted both the san andreas map and vice city to my FiveM server. This is literally the only mapmod so far that has shown no evidence in existing in the game whatsoever.
@mar1o18 that's because it replaces the sandking skin, in order to change the sound you must make a custom vehicles.meta for it. if you want to change the way it sounds yourself, find the correct vehicle.meta file and search for "sandking2" and look for the line "<audioNameHash />".
replace "<audioNameHash />" with "<audioNameHash>VOLTIC</audioNameHash>" and it should make the cybertruck sound like an EV.
so my friend downloaded this mod and shortly after joining a server and having it install mods to his game he lost all admin rights to his PC and can no longer do anything. Basically his PC has locked up and he can't even reset windows because it won't allow him. Can anyone confirm that you can get a virus from this if it needs you to download mods off someone's server?
@iTzKevinFTW because I tried this and the boat trailer would not connect, only way it worked was by replacing the legit file, I mean it has worked before but ever since the last openiv update not all of the files seem to work when placed in the openiv mods folder, could just be a bug with openiv at the moment because I have this issue when I replace in game vehicles it'll still use the original model
@Oskar I fully understand with the whole modding thing and changing code, it's basically all trial and error and hope that the game doesn't crash upon launch lol, still a good mod and I like that it's not in .lua format which never seems to get along with GTA for me
this mod does work occasionally but it's very random, sometimes it'll work and sometimes it just doesn't or sometimes you just have to spam it until it works, sometimes dropping the vehicle will bug out and cause the skylift to spaz out...
however I do give you credit and believe that this mod will become perfect once the bugs are worked out
@shlog4 it's easier to find them driving along the highways during morning hours but I usually use the dunes in sandy shores to help prop it up or the pallets at the airport, you have to spawn it just right and it isn't the easiest task, also be sure that you replaced the legit file rather than if you've made a copy in the OpenIV mods folder, I've learned that some mods including this one will not work if they're placed into game files in that folder because the game tends to be picky now of which file it reads

could you by any chance make a 2006-2009 VW GTI MK5 model? although this model is fantastic, good job!
