@AnarchyBlues Once again. Read my comment. The RGT 8 with the V8 didn't exist until 2010. The Comet, as it looks today, was originally in GTA 4 in 2008.
If you can't fathom that then there's no point arguing any more since you're adamant that you're right.

@TheAdmiester Fair point, but you're forgetting that even though there was no RGT-8 in 2008, the Comet from GTA IV was in the same league with the Infernus (slightly faster, if I remember correctly). Which means the engine was either a V8 or based off a RUF tuned Flat 6, 'cause there's no way it'd come even close to matching the Infernus' performance if it were a 911 with a flat 6 engine. Later theory supports your idea that the engine models are inaccurate, but since the GTA IV Comet does actually resemble a Porsche more, I'm pretty sure they just stuck a V8 in it (lore wise) to make it comparable to the Infernus.

Either way, the GTA V Comet resembles an RGT-8 more than it does a 911, aesthetically and otherwise. I agree that probably wasn't the idea from the start, from GTA IV, but it does now.

Hi, even though I replaced both .yft files the spoiler is still there when I spawn Comet2. Anything I should know?

@TheSkyProd i tried replacing it in patchday13ng too, no dice. how ever, there's two "stock spoilers", you can install the spoilerless version using menyoo or any tuning shop.

I installed this mod and the spolier is still there? I know its installed right and even when i look at the comets files through openIV I can see that the spoiler is gone. But when I go into the game, its still there? Any reason why this is?
