Yeah its verified twice through steam just a week ago. My hard copy had issues when the GTALauncher verified and broke my game, not sure why so I got it on steam. Much easier to deal with. Heres a pic of my steam account to prove its not pirated

I guess I got some wacked out version of the game because my Rockstar hardcopy had those folders. I dunno guys thanks anyways. Sry for wasting everyones time.

Damn Im an idoit sometimes... My buddy helped me out. I only had the update.rpf backed up into the mods folder not the x64 which is different. All the patch days are there, lol n00b moment.

Okay I found where I needed to put the files patchday8ng, installed all six files, closed openIV then started up my game. The gun looks normal and unmodded. Is there another weapons.rpf that I need to mod? Sry with all this BS I never modded the firearms before

@TrustNo1 you gotta install the gun inside the patchday8ng folder that is inside your mods folder bro idk whats up with your game

@420x420 Well i think he didn't notice the difference. @TrustNo1 Also make sure the weapon isn't using the 'Luxury' Finish and at 'Normal Black' Skin.

@TrustNo1 this doesnt change the guns model only the textures bro also it doesnt matter what camo u have in game youll still be able to see the wood

Ya i tried doing everything you guys said it just wont work i dont know why. I read somewhere before and is it possible that i have to replace the ak in a few different locations and not just in patchday8ng? Its strange im not new to modding been doing it since gta3 pc. But when it comes to weapon modding in gtav i could never get it to work correctly.

Finally got this mod to work and it looks awesome! Great job!
