What is this?
A mod that takes away sirens from police vehicles.
(I replaced sirens with silent files.)

Why?
If you're like me and have crime all over the city, hearing sirens everywhere can give you a migraine with slight hemorrhoids.
How to install?
Step 1: Edit mode in openIV - x64/audio/sfx/resident (Drop my .oac file into the resident.rpf)
Step 2: In the top menu next to File and Edit, click New, click ImportOpenFormats, and select my .oac (this is done to ensure it should work)
Step 3: Have fun.

Good, thats one option for anybody to consider, i can't stand hearing police sirens and if i look around there no police cars anywhere around me.
I wish devs would have some nice AUDIO volume setting file for all, because there are many too bad designs. Rain loudness is low with car chase camera, should have been only low with 1st person in car and all that AI talking so loud where it should be impossible to hear them, i would love to have tweaks for these to make appropriate distance volume scaling.

When I see opinions I peepee myself of laughter and put myself in a coma of depression.
This mod could help people making videos on Rockstar editor. I've been sitting on this for 6 months and felt selfish for not taking the time to put it up since nobody has considered doing this already.
Also I noticed silent ambulances as a result of doing this. The previous 'No siren mod' posted only seemed to allow the police vehicle that your driving to have silent sirens, not the surrounding police.
To any appreciation shown, I'll gladly work on silencing or lowering the files of other annoyances...If not much bs is posted on this. I'm not jedijosh nor do I aim for fame. Just tryin to help out.

All the half a star ratings are dumb nonsense, I personally would not use this mod because I really like the sirens, but I will not put a bad rating, because I don't like it, Everyone has there own opinions on things
Works perfectly, even after years later with 1.0.1604.1. No encryption of original files (outside mods folder) needed either, sweet!
Thank you, this will come very handy for advanced filming techniques. And saves a lot of time :)
