Damn, this cool! Do the players spawn randomly around the map?
This is SUPER cool. My immediate first question is the same as Eyon's: Do the player characters move about, meaning that you can randomly bump into them (or do they only wander the map after you've just switched away from them)?
@miketheratguy @Eyon As far as I know they wander the map, so yeah you can randomly bump into them. To test the mod I simply kept switching characters back and forth to figure out where they were.
But I would assume that there would have to be some kind of "off" status at SOME point, otherwise they'd never change clothes or have situations like Trevor being passed out drunk or on otherwise inexplicable high rooftops, etc. Still, I find this very intriguing. It's a shame that it can't track them everywhere at all times, I would be very curious to see how the AI works.
Also I love that you guys both have cat avatars. Cats are the best. :)
make franklin and michael act as Cops so they arrest/kill you and if u play as them, other cops ignore you lol
this mod is good too
could you make a "random" car blip generator...find any random car/truck/vehicle so far away and place a blip on the map...have a ini file to add car hex/hash files to make a list that can be updated should new car/truck/vehicle be added in future updates. also customize how far away that blip can be generated and if its stationary or moving? can that be done?
This mod is cool. It's really interesting when this blip just randomly appears and then we can bump into them. This mod really helps me find Michael in the mission 'Fresh Meat'.
However, there is some minor glitch or some sort where one of the character blip appears on the map however they're not there.
incredible simple mod! Love how it seemless it is and usefull during mission deciding who is who. Does cause some bugs: Missions where the player is spawned it beforehand (trevor phillips industries switch, fresh meat) it shows the blip to soon, when failing a section of a mission and retrying it causes phantom/ghost blips which are very hard to remove without reloading the game.
