1- You have to put your Wave (.wav) formated sound in the "Grand Theft Auto V\scritps\horns" and rename It to "dontloop.wav"(It's going to be played once) or "loop.wav"(It's going to loop while you keep holding the horn). You can also follow the "Super Mario" example and split your sound in two parts, so the first part's going to be played and once It's done the loop starts.
Changelog
VERSION 1.1
1- Added a menu with the option to enable or disable the custom loop horns.
2- NAudio is not needed anymore, the whole sound is now handled with the WMPLib.

***IMPORTANT***
VERSION 1.1
The Installation instructions in the ReadMe file are incorrect! Please, follow the installation provided in the description! You are supposed to put the horns folder with the chosen loop.wav and dontloop.wav inside your scripts folder! (e.g: Grand Theft Auto V>scripts>horns>loop.wav). Thanks to @Elegant Idiot, for the comment!
interesting mod.
is it possible to set the new horn sound permanently to a car?
where can i find the horn sound of each vehicle type?
1- Yes, you can set It "permanently" by setting this vehicle horn to the clown one. 2- the only vehicle horns that I found in the files are the ones inside the "vehicles Awc" in the Resident.Rpf package.
@SteamSilenceChannel how do i set the vehicle horn to the clown horn?
i did not find a file, where it can be changed so far
@Augur89 You can see how to install a modified version of the clown horn in the description. But You can set It in game at the LSCustoms under the First set of horns, It's going to be the Last one of the list...
@SteamSilenceChannel i already edited the horn sound and it's working. my question is, how to change the default horn of a car to the clown horn, so that i don't have to change it ingame every time.
@Augur89 This feature is something that I'm planning to be automatic in a future version, but for now I recommend you to use a Trainer/Mod Menu to avoid LSCustoms. It's not something that you can change in the files, since my script will check the current Horn index to work, not the sound or the name of the horn, if that makes sense... You can't change the Index in the files as well, since this is a part of the game structure! I promise that I'll figure an easy solution for this! Just have patience for now, please. ^^
@SteamSilenceChannel ok, nice to read. thanks for your fast responses
I installed the mod properly and for some odd reason the horn isn't working
Is there a limit on the audio file length ?
Hey It just changed my horn to a regular clown horn .
And also I noticed while copying the audio file from modified clown horn folder to my vehicles oac folder , there was no audio file of such name and it just got copied instead of actually getting replaced . I think audio hash for clown horn is changed ? I don't know , and couldn't figure out any solution .
Does it work in online?
