Description:
This script prevents money pickups (e.g. wallets and glowing stacks of money) from spawning aside dead bodies. Instead, you are given the option to manually pick up any money off a dead body by pressing E (or D-Pad Right) however you can disable this feature if you prefer. All without playing around with .meta files or update.rpf! This script is ideal for realistic gameplay—after all, your pocket money doesn't magically fall out your pocket when you die in real life, neatly stacked and all.
Instructions:
Extract the .zip file and place NoMoneyPickups.dll and NoMoneyPickups.ini in your scripts folder. Requires both ScriptHookV and Community Script Hook V.
INI Settings:
AllowPickup: If set to true, money is able to be picked up from a dead body by pressing E (D-Pad Right on a controller). Set to "false" if you want to disable picking up money from dead bodies completely.
PickupPrompt: If set to true, the player will be shown a prompt (Press E to pickup $x) on their screen whenever they are in range of a dead body containing money.
PickupAnim: If set to true, an animation will play upon picking up money from a dead body.
MoneyBlips: If set to true, dead bodies containing money will be marked on the mini-map as green dollar signs.
BlipDistance: The maximum distance to show the blips on the radar from. Outside this distance, any existing blips will be deleted.
Known Issues:
- Some random events (mugging ones) are bugged; after killing the mugger the wallet will be shown on the mini-map but it is nowhere to be found.

New version uploaded! If you were experiencing significant FPS drops then it is vital that you download the latest version. By using the older version I lost about 10-15 FPS. The issue was the code used to delete the money pickups was being ran for EACH ped in the game world, and I realized that I only needed to run this code once per tick, using Game.Player.Character.Position instead of iterating through all peds and using ped.Position.
Remember, you can disable picking up money completely by setting every variable in NoMoneyPickups.ini to "false". This will disable money pickups AND the ability to pick them up by pressing E.
@Santos_Revenge I have it on my list. It would have to be separate from this script though.
@0x49 I'll look into it, however it may be harder than it sounds. The game would always alternate between the artificial money and the game's money and some values may be overwritten (e.g. when saving the game). I'll see what I can do though.
@ILikeToPlayGTA Do you have the time to create an artificial money system for GTA V? I can't do it myself because Visual Studio keeps crashing for me whenever I try to create a script. The reason I am asking for this is because I usually do not play as the main protagonists and would like to buy and sell things. Maybe you could make it detect when money is collected and add that amount to the artificial bank.

@ILikeToPlayGTA I have a new idea for the artificial money system script: The money amount that is for the main protagonists will be forced upon ALL pedestrians being used by the player, countless of whichever one it is. Basically, it's tricking the game into thinking that the ped the player is using the main character's money amount. It could be like InfamousSabre's Pickups script where the weapons are forced upon any ped the player turns into. (Along with the weapon attachments.) This happens when the player switches from one ped to another, whereas the default GTA style is where each ped has their own individual weapon inventory and ammo amount.
