@navefa_ many people don't, there's a lot of bad info out there saying you can go up to 65535, which, whilst you can, does affect other vehicles. Try to stay at 1023 or lower for ID Values :)
hey man, love the work, one minor gripe is that you use modkit id's greater than 1024. Whilst it almost guarantees your mod to have tuning, it has the knock on effect of taking out another vehicles ID, and its impossible to work out which until you spot it in game.
@hilly's Thats excellent news, thank you. If you want to join the VW Discord, I'll be happy to provide you the relevant access to be involved with the project
For anyone that has updated their game following the SHV update today, the mod no longer works in its current form, however if you copy carcols_gen9.meta and carmodcols_gen9.meta to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data then you will be able to use these colours until R* finally adds their own colours to PC.
@Dalejrfan5150 A different gameconfig. The one by F7YO we have found doesn't get the results we want. The one included is the one by InfiniteQuestion, unfortunately he appears to have removed the versions he used to keep online, however we have a copy of it available in the Helpdesk of our discord server
@Dalejrfan5150 like I said previously, its only a dlcpack, its not some complex thing that needs uninstalling. For testing purposes all you need to do is comment out (using the <!--comment--> tags) each of the lines needed to be removed from dlclist. Both VWE and DW have the relevant prefixes on their dlclist entries.
@Caldihno@aruczi remove the dlcpacks and their associated lines in dlclist. You can replace the popgroups and popcycle files with vanilla if you wish, but the game will work fine without, and retain GTAO vehicles in traffic.
@cystlbons I assure you there are no identical cars in this pack. There are a number of variations of vanilla vehicles and mods, hence the name, Vanillaworks. I'm not sure what you mean by violates classic traffic. The biggest request that we get is that the modded vehicles (and GTAO DLC) shows up in traffic, so that is what has been done.
