For now it replaces the "Glendale" from the hipster DLC, in the future I would like to make this into an add on with two separate cars in it and some help with that would be much appreciated. Credits for the model go to Carface and Esprit. I didn't make it or convert it, I only made a few edits.
For now model edits only include attaching the bumpers to the body for more realistic damage and making the wheels on the ex police version slightly wider. In the future I would like to add a spotlight and a push bar to the ex police version, I already made an accurate looking push bar for it in z modeler but I don't know how to properly assign a material to it and attach it to the car yet lol. Any help with that would be much appreciated as well.
The civilian version has 6 colors to choose from blue, green, black, white, yellow and primer grey. The police version has slightly wider wheels and tires than the civilian version and also has a "Hemi Orange" painted air cleaner which were both distinct features of the 1971 Polara police package.
The civilian and ex police versions each have unique and highly realistic handling. The civilian version is based on the base model Polara sedan with the 383 2 barrel big block V8 and 727 Torqueflite three speed automatic transmission and the ex police version is based on the Polara police package equipped with the 375+ horsepower 440 big block V8 with a forged steel crank, a heavy duty radiator, a heavy duty transmission cooler, 3.23 limited slip rear axle ratio, large diameter power drum brakes, added front and rear sway bars and heavy duty shocks and springs. Obviously the police package is much faster and stops and handles much better.
Thanks to the effective HD radiator, powerful 440 V8 with forged steel HD crank and a wise choice of gear ratios the Polara Police package is capable of "cruising" at 140 MPH with approxamately 3/4 throttle for miles upon miles without overheating or suffering any other mechanical failures.
Speeds of 150 MPH could be exceeded for short bursts if required but prolonged operation over 150 MPH will cause overheating and eventually engine failure.
Installation instructions are included in the readme.
Inverse Power by IKT and my Realistic Surface Traction Overhaul mod are both strongly reccommended for a more realistic driving eperience, find them here:

@Impactjunky Big thanks for the work done.
You cane made realistic handling for https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1989-gmc-suburban-v-1-0
@Five Maybe, I have been waiting on that vehicle to get an update before I try it.
People say it has no lods and I usually prefer to do handling for add on cars to make installing easier for.
@gorgonut There you go dude https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/realistic-handling-for-tkownz-70-firebird
Excellent idea of the old car with the sheriff livery, I think it is poerfetta to be used in LSPD FR.
Very beautiful
@Impactjunky, Ok,thanks
@Five I checked it out and I've been working on it, made a rusted livery for it as well as handling, gonna upload soon.
@Impactjunky Thanks mate! Well done!
@gorgonut No problem!
Hi, I'm new to Gta v and I want to use replace this awsome car on emperor2 or emperor3. please help me because I haven't the "mphipster" dlc pack. how can I replace it on emperor3?
can you make it addon able?
I got it. I found that location.
please fix interior and make speed meter working, and add blinker indicators to the dashboard
rear lights can be better, make separate the brake lights, add blinker lights.
@hadinajafi77 The speedometer works if you replace the right car
@EnRo You didn't replace all the files properly so the car in your vid looks, sounds and drives nothing like the car is supposed to. It is only supposed to spawn in matte white so you can see the livery properly and you are supposed to choose the livery color yourself before installing. The speedometer also works if you install all the files properly. Thanks for the video but it looks nothing like the car does when you install it right.
@Impactjunky Thanks, I replaced it instead emperor. thanks again, this mod is lovely.
@Impactjunky look and work perfect, just little detail the wheel look like levitating after damaging car - missing axle
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. I have one minor problem though, when my car is at high speeds (90-100 mph) and is going around a corner, sometimes it'll grab the dirt on the side and start to flip. Any way to fix this?
To me 1 year ago: You forgot to add the handling LOL.
Great mod, 5 stars. I like reverse engineering it and adding the cop handling to the Highway Patrol version of this car. The brakes feel very underwhelming though. Other than that, brilliant
What is the name of the vehicle file so i can located it in trainer please?
