Summary of installation instructions:

then download and install addon props- https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/addonprops
and add the saber props, to your addon prop editor should look like that after that- https://imgur.com/a/jZdnrLp
weapons location: mods/update/x64/dlcpakcs/patchday 8(3)
addon props just click on the link and check there how to install there is no need for my help.
then just replace the weapons at patchday3 and patchday8 (pay attention some are only at patchday 3 and some are only at 8).
and you're done!! you can play and enjoy a lightsaber IN GTA5!!!

what do you mean by some at patchday 3 and some at patchday 8? Am i supposed to put the files on both folders equally or just put them randomly on both? I dont get that part.

@engelred how did you get it working. so far I have the hilt(only added the obi wan one because I didnt mind replacing the dagger) but when I turn on the saber Im getting the sound but the blade doesnt come out/isnt visible. what did you do exactly?
@MTN4456 man help pls. i cant rebuild my sabers. i have the 4.6.1 version and i placed the files to props.rpf. why cant i rebuild my sabers?

I have some skin suggestions for you: Scorpion and Sub zero from mk11, Madara from the jump force game and Cable from the Deadpool 2 movie.
I cant get the mod to work, I'm getting the hilts but when i activate the lightsaber there is no blade or anything

When making the lightsabers in prop editor do they all have the same LOD distance, Special Attribute, and flags? @MTN4456
I right click, and the lightsaber doesn't turn on. I don't want an answer like "Did you install everything correctly?", that's not helpful. What are some common mistakes, and tell me where everything goes in detail: because obviously judging from the other comments and my own experience, the description wasn't so helpful

The SaberClose.mp3 file
is part of the Star Wars Lightsaber mod for GTA V.
This file is typically located within the main directory of your GTA V folder1.
Here are the general steps to install the mod:
Place LightSabers.asi, LightSaberScript.ini, and SaberSounds
(which should contain the SaberClose.mp3 file)
inside the main directory of your GTA V folder1.
Place StarWarsTextures.ytd inside mods/update/update.rpf/x64/textures/script_txds.rpf using OpenIV1.
If you only want lightsaber animations and no kick animations while in melee, install results.meta1.
Remember, you need to have the LightSaber Pack by MTN4456, ScripthookV, and Community Script Hook V .NET installed for the mod to work1.
