Should work as a drop-in replacement for any ambient ped. Can probably also be used as add-on.
This is an experiment with using custom generated characters from Unreal MetaHuman Creator to create ambient GTA V ped models. Almost all assets used are generated in MetaHuman or taken from mp_f_freemode_01. Theoretically, I could make infinite ambient peds this way.
Installation:
1. Open GTA V directory in OpenIV
2. Navigate to x64v.rpf/models/cdimages/componentpeds_a_f_y.rpf
4. Replace any ambient ped. These may be located anywhere in:
5. You can also install as add-on ped with Menyoo or otherwise.
Features:
Changelog:
1.0. Initial release
1.1. Widened legs

Uh, doesn't MetaHuman TOS state that you can only use the models in unreal engine and not other games etc?
too thin (childishly thin) legs. is there any way to fix this?
@JP-Julia In retrospect, probably used the wrong base body. I'll fix the legs later
@LeetSombrero Thanks, i be wait
Cool idea
@JP-Julia Widened them a little bit, should look more normal
Will tweak this one some more over time probably
Can you add any 3d model into the game?
Hi, registered in part to say great work on this!
I know you did a stripper mod in the past, is there any chance you could do some Metahuman strippers?
Good work.
hi man, im very corious on how you cinvert the metahuman model to the rage engine of gta 5, can you do a video or saoy to me how did you do that?
@SoyLucifer1917 Plenty of guides on how to extract Metahumans from UE to Blender, then you just need to export objs to Zmodeler and manually rig them.
Hair you'll probably need to source yourself, the hairs you get out of Metahumans are not really optimized for GTA
@LeetSombrero I beg you to teach me how to port my personal characters to the game or give me a link to a quality lesson
@LeetSombrero
I am interested in using Unreal for creation of characters for a machinima, 'cause the GTA models aren't super great (one character is Asian and GTA doesn't have great Asian options weirdly enough).
Any tips you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
@jizzyRael Google how to export Metahumans from UE to blender, after that follow the NCProductions guides to Sollumz: https://www.youtube.com/@NcProductionsDK (Not trivial)
There's also alex189's recordings of doing facial rigging that's pretty helpful, albeit in zmodeler3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfUnZwWagz0
Some random points:
* As far as adding hair, I'm not certain if metahumans have any card-style hair meshes, so you might have to source your own, either from GTA or the Sims modding community.
* If you care about blood mapping, blood maps are stored in UV#2. Use a vanilla ped as an example.
@LeetSombrero Thank you! You did not need to be so helpful and you went out of your way. That's awesome. :-)
