@TheFederalBureau Simply because there are too many weapons in the game. With so many, each one becomes less unique. It's also a matter of practicality, its a lot easier to modify 20 or so then however many there are by default.
I don't recommend using this mod as a whole, use the tank and lazer script files only. If you want a true military response use CPRE and then you can add these scripts in.

Good mod but unfortunately when you land upside down the vehicles horn is disabled and you lose air control :(
