@The Apple that’s a great idea, but I don’t think it is possible and for now I want to concentrate only on this mod
If someone plays GTA Online should know that when you used countermeasures and they are not ready yet, there is a sound played.
If you know where I can find that sound in game files, please let me know.

@Alex01 I will try, but Rockstar made flares that color so I don’t think I can…
@Alex01 that mod deletes every missile when “flares” are launched. They do not attract missiles, they just disappear…
Even mine works with every plane and helicopter, and also with every vehicle you want. You just need to add vehicles in the xml file

@TrustNo1 oh yeah, sure. In fact I named this mod “Countermeasures” and not only “Flares” because I’m considering also adding chaff and smoke
@TrustNo1 Yes, it works. And you can choose between Up, Down, Right and Left. Default is Right.
Just edit as you want the xml file
