@Brawlrus make sure the file is right and in it you need a .lua file and stream folder with the ytd's

I find it very difficult to extinguish fire with this plane. Is there a maybe some value increasing amount of water being dropped? Otherwise amazing job!

Hey @SkylineGTRFreak, I am developing 737-300 fire plane, i was wondering if i could get assistance with it or hand it off to you to do.

I threw this into a server I work for. Whenever it drops water it will crash anybody around it. The crash code is: (Game crashed: GTA5_b2372.exe!sub_140846FC8 (0xb4)) If anybody could help me with this, that would be greatly appreciated.

@zDxqressedStan No. It causes crashes.... for other players.

I tried it on FearFul freeroam and on my own FiveM server and the result was the same. Any other players nearby will simply crash. But you are ok.

It's the same thing with the water bombing helicopter. It seems that water bombing from aircraft just causes crashes. I put the water canon on another plane, not a SkylineGTRFreak plane, to test it and it had the same result.

I'm still working on trying to find a workaround. Maybe try to fool the game in thinking it's a firetruck.

In the meantime. i would advise to disable the water canon to avoid crashing other players in the area. Edit handling.meta and do this:

@SkylineGTRfreak , there way be a way to fix this for your FiveM fans. This is a great plane and the water bomb does work except on FiveM servers it crashes other players around you when used.

What I noticed is that compared to the other firefighting vehicles we have, 5 engines and even a fire boat, the weapon_1a on those are inside of a turrret tree in the model. So chassis > turret_1base > turret_1barrel > weapon_1a . It's like this for ALL fire fighting vehicles we have with water cannons. But on this plane and the Firehawk helicopter, it's chassis > weapon_1a.

Perhaps this is the cause of the FiveM crashes given the handling.meta file has a bunch of turret information. So maybe the lack of the turret bones causes issues ?

Can you try to fix this? I'd be willing to help you out using my FiveM server to run tests.
