This modification makes weapons more realistic. Expect gunfights to be more challenging and immersive. Most features were based on caliber and the real life weapon counterpart.
Please join my discord to report issues and get insight on future updates and update progress. I also will release some other wip mods I am working on.

Installation Information
An .oiv package installer has been provided. Always install into your mods folder.
Known Bugs
Automatic Mk2 weapons and Cayo Perico Weapons have no recoil. Apparently, Rockstar did not implement recoil code for these weapons so I can't edit or modify them. Maybe in the future I will copy over the code from regular weapons but this is unlikely.

@Poorsoul44 NP bro but for recoil try combining your mod with this mod (https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/gun-recoil) in game recoil is trash and this might be too much to ask but here are few tips I would like to give
>Make 2 different damage mod
one as semi realistic weapon damage and other for realistic damage
for semi do keep your personal preference but for realism one

2 shots to the mid chest of almost every pistol should be a kill
1 shot with any AR in the chest
shotgun 1 shot but only upto 15-20m
smg slight lower then pistol
similar to player as well
would be better if AI had very bad aim while drive by because they are laser accurate
and also please do research on Rate of fire and Effective range irl of not all but the standard weapons

i know its not easy but there is lack of realistic weapons in gta v unlike gta iv which have perfect mod that i wish existed in gta v too

regarding the recoil, all the guns feels incredibly shaky it's actually insane. I think you might be better off with Eddlm's Gun Recoil script for it- also the reload slowdown is so freaking slow its actually insane xd. Besides that, it's a great mod.

I am sorry for the slow updates. School has started and I am working on something big for everyone. Multiple changes and improvements are on their way. I am also adding a euphoria option to go with my mod. So stay tuned.

@TwixyUnleashed Reload time is supposed to be slow. You can't reload a weapon in 2 seconds like you could in vanilla. It is supposed to be realistic.

@bloodofgurkha That is a good idea. Maybe I will do something like that. Right now I a tweaking damages for pistols.

My suggestion would be that the carbine rifle weapon fired not in automatic mode as in reality

@benddd1230 I would probably look for a script that does that. However I could make a weapons.meta for with very low fire rate. I don't know if this will be like semi-automatic but I will see. Join the discord so that after some testing I can send you the custom one.

1.6 is pending fixed multiple bugs (thanks for reporting) also removed euphoria I released it by itself with better features.

@MylesTheBroom No I will not be doing this. However, you can do it your self by opening the oiv with winrar opening content find the metas and search (witch ctrl+f) TracerFX and change !No Value Entered! to bullet_tracer.

is there anyway to decrease the ammo count to close to realism and only 3-4 arms in inventory according to its size

Nice mod! the effects are better than the original, but worse than the "Realistic Muzzle Flash And Smoke" mod. The 3rd person gameplay is much better in "Ripplers Realism" (there is also something done with the sound and any mod that changes the sound with RR sounds better), but in your mod, 1st person gameplay is the best I've seen. It would be very cool to combine the 3rd person gameplay from "ripplers realism", the 1st person gameplay from your mod and the effects from "Realistic Muzzle Flash And Smoke", I think it would be the best mod that changes the combat system.

Yep, you can change count in weapons.meta (example for SMG). I dont like so high values either...

@FARTUK_FAR I hadn't really focused on third person gameplay. This mod was made to play in first person. I will look at changing up the effects once I am free from school work. But right now I am really busy.

1.5 is pending, many things have been added and improved. Please be aware updates will be slow for the weapon side of things. However, I am tempted to release my euphoria mod as a standalone mod. I am not sure yet though so please enjoy the update I put a lot of time and effort into this. Enjoy everyone and thanks for the support and downloads!
