sorry if this is a stupid question but how do I import the folders into the update.rpf with Codewalker's RPF explorer? When I try to drag/drop the folders, it just tells me the folders already exist.
@flyafar You need to import the individual files manually
turismo r dosent crash my game on enhanced
@deleternal Yeah, turns out the crash happened because of the textures of the Turismo R from another mod I'm updating
@Alex106 I did figure out a workaround of sorts: if you drag and drop the folders from rpf explorer into windows explorer, merge the new folders/files through windows, and reimport the entire folders into RPFexplorer after deleting the originals there, it works great, except for the fact that there's a 1gb+ file in the update.rpf's x64 folder which prevents you from importing the entire folder. So it really only works for the dlc_patch folder, but that's okay is was the one with the majority of changes needed. Made the process slightly less tedious to just extract the dlc_patch folder into windows, merge the mod's dlc_patch folder into it, and reimport it into RPFexplorer while dealing with the files in x64 folder individually.
Brilliant mod! This is unrelated, but in GTA V, if you shoot a ped in the head, they die instantly, but if a ped shoots another ped in the head, they don't necessarily die depending on how much health they have - NPC vs. NPC headshots are often not fatal. Would it be possible to make NPCs kill each other automatically with headshots as a separate mod? I think it would really add to game immersion.
This mod is very good, bro
i'm new to modding, will this affect GTA online ? like, will i have any problems with it (i know it only works for vanilla, but still)
Hi! Nice Mod! Do you have any plans on fixing broken tachometer in cars? Needle always goes beyond rev limit... It's been an issue since like 2021 and Rockstar never managed to fix this bug
yo i got another thing incase you were searching for stuff to search: inside buses, when you honk the sound plays but the animations actually starts with a 1-2 second delay.
Thanks for the update!!
perfect
A fine mod.
This is must have, but I have recently noticed that the LSPD Police Transporter has an issue with its sirenlights where the halogen lamps do not rotate correctly about their axis. Here is the video where you can see the issue present: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGJwlEPJ7XI (very noticeable at the 2:17 to 2:21 mark).
A fix for this would be nice. Thank you.
Installation (Enhanced):
1. Move the "spFixes_Gen9" folder in "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks" and add "
dlcpacks:/spFixes_Gen9/
" to the "dlclist.xml"
- there is only one folder named "spfixes". I assume that's the gen9 that you mean.
- add "
dlcpacks:/spFixes_Gen9/
" to the "dlclist.xml"
okay...
2. update.rpf Files: import the "dlc_patch" and "x64" folders in "mods\update\update.rpf"
- I'm sorry, I have no clue what you're talking about in here.
@SentinelGuardian
You need OpenIV for this, watch a guide online if you are confused
@Batlez does it have to be OpenIV and not CodeWalker? I really don't want to download GTA V legacy just so I can open OpenIV.
@SentinelGuardian You can use OpenIV for Enhanced, you just need to rename GTA5_Enhanced to GTA5.exe, and then it will work. After you are done using OpenIV, just rename the .exe back to Enhanced and you will be good to go
this might've also made my game unplayable
@Alex106 For some reason during the mission reuniting the family Jimmy's jacket is showing the decals from his jersey and i'm not sure why this keeps occuring I've temporarily removed all asi files and even unloaded OpenIV.ASI but the issue keeps happening I'm guessing it's due to either a save or updates from rockstar.
