This mod increases the Shadow box around the player.
After installing the mod, I recommended opening the graphic settings, change the Soft Shadows setting - to Softest.
How to Install:
1) To install this mod, you need to download and install the OpenIV program.
2) In the OpenIV program, select the Tools / Package Installer, then select the INSTALL - Shadow box effect (FIX).oiv mod and click install to the MODS folder.
Installation completed!
For Graphic mods: NaturalVision Evolved, Redux and etc. (ReadMe)
If you are playing with NaturalVision Evolved mod, Redux or other graphic mods then you can edit the Shadow box effect manually - read the ReadMe file.

this mod is good and all, but it makes the shadow less accurate. for example the wheels of the car aren't correctly lit or have a partial non shadow under it where there should be a shadow and gives off a floating effect. am guessing this is bcs the game would need more samples to render that area more accurately since we are stretching the area affected.

do not install this, completely destroys the game if ur using NVE, even the uninstaller doesnt work
works, must edit manually, because this will overwrite your mod graphics, you can edit timcyc weather rain, sunny, clear and others yourself, on 2 lines "<dir_shadow_cascade0_scale>", while in the mod above there is only 1 line, maybe that's why I tried but it didn't work...
